A man seeks out a tree said to grant wishes and asks it for eternal youth. It grants the wish — and holds him to it. The wish holds. But so does the tree. A strange connection begins to grow between them, one he didn't ask for and can't quite name. There's a limit to how far the wish can stretch — a border past which it stops working. Now he must decide: stay tied to the tree forever, or let the wish end.
